The Indiana Fever have announced an exciting addition to their preseason schedule: a game against the Brazilian National Team at the University of Iowa on May 4 (6 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. CT).
For the first time in franchise history, the Fever will take the court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, a venue renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and memorable moments, particularly from No. 1 draft pick and former Hawkeye, Caitlin Clark. Adding to the excitement, Fever’s Damiris Dantas will face a familiar matchup, as she previously played for the Brazilian National Team in the 2016 and 2012 Summer Olympics. In addition, the University of Iowa Athletics Department will retire Clark’s iconic No. 22 jersey during a ceremony scheduled for February 2 inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. ET (12:30 p.m. CT), and the event will be broadcast on FOX and the Hawkeye Radio Network.
