The #DallasCowboys are interviewing Tashard Choice for their running backs coach position. Choice, a fourth-round pick in 2008, spent four seasons with the Cowboys and had a six-year playing career that included stints with Washington, Buffalo, and Indianapolis.
Choice's coaching journey began in 2016 as an intern with the Cowboys. He then moved to the college ranks, starting at North Texas before returning to his alma mater, Georgia Tech, in 2019. In 2022, he was hired to coach running backs at Texas, mentoring standout players like Jahmyr Gibbs (2020-21), Bijan Robinson (2022), and Jonathan Brooks (2023).
The Chicago #Bears are bringing in Eric Bieniemy as their new running backs coach, per a report. Bieniemy, who has a wealth of experience from his time with the Kansas City #Chiefs and #UCLA, is making his return to the NFL.
Bieniemy's expertise is expected to make a significant impact on the Bears' backfield, which ranked 25th in rushing yards last season.
Great news for the #Eagles - Lane Johnson has committed to playing in the 2025 season, regardless of the Super Bowl outcome. A big piece of Philly's line is back next season.
The #Colts are bringing in Chris Hewitt as their new Pass Game Coordinator/Secondary Coach. With 16 years of NFL coaching experience, including the past 10 seasons leading Baltimore’s secondary, Hewitt has consistently helped his teams achieve standout defensive rankings. Under his guidance, the #Ravens' defense ranked first in the NFL in yards allowed per game (322.0) and opponent third-down conversion percentage
Darren Rizzi is reportedly set to become the Denver #Broncos' Special Teams Coordinator, unless he lands the #Saints' head coaching job. Rizzi brings 16 years of #NFL experience, including the past six seasons with New Orleans, where Broncos coach Sean Payton originally hired him.
Rizzi also served as the Saints' interim head coach, leading the team to a 3-5 record after the firing of Dennis Allen.
Baker Mayfield expressed his support for Liam Coen, who will now be working with Trevor Lawrence. "People have their thoughts about how it went down and I understand the emotional aspect of it, but I’m happy for Liam. He deserves an opportunity," said Mayfield. Mayfield believes Lawrence will greatly benefit from Coen's expertise: "For Trevor, Liam taught the game of football to all of our offensive guys. Trevor’s going to have a guy that’s going to grow into him, lean into that and help him out, not just on the field but off the field."
The #Patriots are gearing up for the 2025 season with a new regime led by Mike Vrabel. Familiar faces are returning to Foxborough, bringing fresh hopes of turning things around. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye shared his excitement about working with the new coaching staff: "He reached out to me and we got on the phone. He's been awesome. Obviously, a guy who's done it and played in the league and won a Super Bowl, you have a respect for what he's done. So excited to get up to New England and get things going."
The #AZCardinals are hiring Justin Frye, Ohio State’s Associate Head Coach for Offense and Offensive Line Coach, as their new OL Coach, according to sources. This move comes as Klayton Adams, the previous OL Coach, has taken on the role of Offensive Coordinator for the #Cowboys.
